Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program

A Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that provides a temporary discount on monthly broadband bills for qualifying households.
If your household is eligible, you can receive:

Up to $50 a month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals

A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computers

(with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)

Do You Qualify? Yes, if:

Your household experienced a substantial loss of income due to job loss or furlough since 2/29/20 and your household income in 2020 was the same or less than $99,000 for single filers or $198,000 for joint filers

Or

You participate in ONE of these government benefit programs:

  • Lifeline
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program(SNAP)
  • Medicaid • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
  • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Free and Reduced Price Schools Lunch and Breakfast (2019-20 or 2020-21)
  • Federal Pell Grant (current award year)

Or

Your income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines
